Sergio Garcia opened up a three-shot lead on day three of the Omega Dubai Desert Classic as he goes in search of a first European Tour title since 2014.
Here, we take a look at what some of those trying to deny him had to say after their third rounds at Emirates Golf Club.
Ian Poulter (67, -11)
"I made a couple of great par saves during the round and gave myself a lot of good chances. I needed to shoot a decent round today because obviously Sergio and the guys in front were a few shots clear. I've done my job today, so I'm very pleased. My putting's really good. I had a stretch of single putts from the back end of round two to the first couple of holes today. I was nine one putts in a row so to do that, you have to be comfortable with your line. I'm quietly confident. I wouldn't say I feel like I'm on my A Game but I'm doing my job and that's all I can do right now. Slowly but surely try to get in contention and see what happens tomorrow."
Prom Meesawat (68, -11)
"I went especially well from the tee, I feel very comfortable on my putting. It's very good finish the last two holes birdie-birdie so I'm really happy with that. I'll just stay with my game plan and stick with what I've been doing for the last three days. I feel comfortable right now so I'll just try to enjoy tomorrow. I got an invite this week and a chance to play a good event, it's always nice to come back here again. I'll just try my best tomorrow."
Tyrrell Hatton (65, -9)
"If you said I was going to shoot seven under after my first seven holes today I probably would have been slightly surprised, it was a great last 11 holes. I'll try and forget about the ninth green. I didn't strike the ball particularly well, especially this morning. And playing next to Stenson and Garcia probably exaggerated that for me because they hit the ball so well. It was frustrating this morning. Although I scored actually okay, my game just didn't feel good at all. I love being out here. The golf courses are fantastic and always in good condition. Quick greens is what players like so I always look forward to coming back."
