Omega Dubai Desert Classic day four - What they said

Sergio Garcia carded a closing 69 to seal an emphatic three-shot victory at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic.

Here, we take a look at what his nearest challengers had to say after their final rounds.

Henrik Stenson (69, -16)

"I was three shots back at the start of the day and Sergio made an early birdie so I was trailing all day, I was expecting that. I needed to come up with some really solid play and even though I didn't quite play my best, I still managed to sneak a couple of birdies in there in the middle of the back nine and move closer. You've got to push when you're behind and we got the wind slightly wrong there on 15. I over-hit it a little bit at the same time. That's obviously where it all kind of finished. At the same time, Sergio hit a lovely shot to about two and a half feet and it was pretty much game, set and match on the 15th green. I'm just working away on my game, trying to move all the positions forward and the time when we want to be peaking is obviously early April. So that's what we're working towards and it's good, steady progress."

Lasse Jensen (65, -14)

"I didn't do a lot wrong, really, played very, very solid and had a strong finish here on the back nine. I was trying to play my cards right and then attack when you can. This golf course, if you underestimate it a little bit, it can suddenly grab you. So you need to play a bit smart but still also make some birdies. Everything just clicked this week so it was maybe a bit surprising that I actually played that well this week. I feel like my game was getting where I want it to be but I thought maybe it would take a bit more time to get out of winter and get the rust out of the system. This is huge and obviously it gives me a lot of boost and confidence for the next couple of weeks."

Tyrrell Hatton (67, -14)

"It was a decent round, a little bit frustrating at times. Obviously it was annoying to leave that putt short on 18. I had three putts today that were straight downhill and felt it was impossible to leave them short and left three of them short. But it's been a fantastic week. Starting Saturday morning, I was plus one for the tournament, so if you had told me I'd finish tied third, I probably would have been quite surprised. It's been an incredible eight months for me. I'm really happy with how this season started and hopefully I can continue the good form."
