Thorbjørn Olesen continued his excellent recent form as he claimed a fifth top-20 finish in six events at the BMW International Open at Golf Club Gut Lärchenhof.
The Dane faced a 36-hole marathon on Sunday after rain delays prevented him making it onto the course on day three, and he admitted to some fatigue after posting a third consecutive 67 and a 73.
Six birdies in the morning had left Olesen just a shot behind eventual winner Henrik Stenson and he tied the lead early in round four with a birdie on the opening hole.
Bogeys on the sixth, eighth, ninth and tenth then threatened to completely de-rail his progress but the three-time European Tour winner battled back with birdies on the 13th and 15th to finish in a share of second - three shots behind Stenson.
"All in all it's been a good week," he said. "Today was a little bit day and night to be honest. Played really well this morning, and lost it a little bit here in the last 18. Couldn't really find the fairways, and my putting was not particularly good.

"I still need to work a lot more on it. I got a little bit tired in the legs and I just couldn't really find the swing, especially with the driver.
"So I need to get back there next week and work a little bit before Thursday next week."
Olesen shared second with South African Darren Fichardt, who achieved his best finish of the season so far.
A third birdie of the day on the 13th had him in a share of the lead before Stenson pulled away with three birdies of his own, and the 41 year old is hoping to take some momentum into next week's 100th Open de France.
"I'm very excited for next week," he said. "The way I'm hitting and stuff, I'm hitting it very straight, and I am putting and chipping very well. I just feel like my old self again. I feel very excited for the next couple of tournaments.
"I've been juggling back and forth with swing thoughts and I started getting very technical even the last two years, and I was nowhere basically. It's nice to play well again."
