Although the lead changed ten times, with Greg Norman, Davis Love III, and Lee Janzen all taking the top spot from José Maria Olazábal at varying points, it was the 1994 Masters Champion who was once again at the head of the leaderboard at the end of an enthralling third round, regaining his one shot lead by virtue of a superb shot to the 18th green.
Four other European Tour Members are within five shots of Olazábal. Ernie Els is at four-under-par, Colin Montgomerie at three-under, with Lee Westwood and Bernhard Langer both on two-under.
