Former Masters Champion José Maria Olazábal shot a superb six-under-par 66 to take the lead after the second round of The Masters Tournament at Augusta National.
The Spaniard lies one shot ahead of American Scott McCarron, and two ahead of Greg Norman and Lee Janzen.
Olazábal, the 1994 Masters Champion, birdied the long 2nd and short 6th holes, before picking up further shots at the 11th, 13th, 15th and 18th.
"Conditions were quite tough, with the wind swirling around as we know it can here at Augusta".
Germany's Bernhard Langer and Scot Colin Montgomerie maintained their strong challenges and are well placed on two-under-par after 36 holes.
