Making a disclosure in the public interest (Whistleblowing)

PGA European Tour is committed to conducting its business with openness, honesty and integrity and we encourage a free and open culture in our dealings between our management team, our employees and all people with whom we engage in business and legal relations. We recognise that effective and honest communication is essential if malpractice is to be effectively handled and our success ensured.

If you have any concerns that you wish to raise in confidence, you can submit a report through our SpeakUp line. How do I use the SpeakUp Line?

The SpeakUp Line is a reporting system that enables you to report concerns or potential misconduct related to PGA European Tour or individuals working for us.

What types of issues can be reported through the SpeakUp Line

Issues include, but are not limited to: breaches of integrity obligations/regulations (for example betting, corruption, conduct, and anti-doping or similar) or criminal activity; danger to health and safety; miscarriages of justice; risk of or actual damage to the environment; financial fraud; harassment including sexual harassment; discrimination; safety violations; environmental concerns; regulatory or professional obligation violations; unauthorised disclosure of confidential information; negligence; other forms of unethical behaviour within the organization; or deliberate concealment of any of the above.

Can I report anonymously?

Yes, you can and you can still stay in touch with the investigators via the SpeakUp Line messaging tool. Should you wish to receive updates, the exit page gives you the option to leave your email address.

Your contact details will not be shared with PGA European Tour.

How do I report a concern via the website?

Access via this link: https://pgaeuropeantour.speakup.report/pgaeuropeantour.

  1. Click New report
  2. Select the language in which you want to leave your message
  3. Make a note of your unique report number and create a password for your report
  4. Type your message. We kindly ask you to provide all relevant and accurate facts, details and explanations in relation to your report that could assist us in the investigation of the matter.
  5. However, please take a cautious approach to submitting information of a personal nature and refer to our privacy policy.
  6. If needed, add attachments with the paperclip icon in the top-right corner.
  7. Click send message – your message and any attached files will be submitted

Follow up on a report:

  1. To log in and review a previously submitted report, select ‘log in’.
  2. To receive an email notification when there is a response, please add your email address (you will be asked to verify it via a code sent to your email address). Your email address will not be shared with PGA European Tour.

How do I report a concern via the app?

Download the SpeakUp® app, provided by People InTouch via Google Play or App Store free of charge.

To start reporting your concern: Open the app and select your personal six-digit pin code and then manually add the organisation code 123979. Remember your personal pin code.

How will you handle my report and privacy?

What you provide will be stored in a database shared only with PGA European Tour designated officers who will handle your report. Please note that any information you provide, including your personal data, will be treated with confidentiality.

If you wish to remain anonymous, before you upload documentation (such as invoices, pictures and Word files) that could help us to follow up on your report, please remove any metadata that could reveal your identity.

If another person is named in your report, they may be notified and asked for their view.

Your identity will not be disclosed.

What types of questions or problems should not be reported to the SpeakUp Line?

How do I work out what should or should not be reported?

You should consider contacting us via another avenue for situations of a personal nature, for instance: personal situations not related to the work environment; everyday complaints that can be resolved locally; and minor interpersonal conflicts that might be better resolved through direct communication.

Conversely, the SpeakUp Line should be used where you believe there is a serious problem; inappropriate behaviour; violations of any PGA European Tour policy; a situation of harassment, sexual or otherwise, fraud, violence or discrimination or any situation which negatively impacts the culture, purpose or safety of PGA European Tour, our employees or our events.

What information should I include in the free text box?

You are welcome to describe the situation as you see fit, but details that will help us investigate include:
