Sweden's Alex Noren is looking forward to trying something new as the European Tour heads to Western Australia for the ISPS HANDA World Super 6 Perth.
This week's event will combine 54 holes of traditional stroke play across the first three days with an exciting knockout match play format for Sunday's final round.
World Number 11 Noren, who is the highest-ranked player in the field at Lake Karrinyup, is a fan of thenew format.

He said: "I think it's nice that we try new things and I think it's going to be nice for the crowds and nice for the TV viewers.
"Obviously it's going to be pretty tough if a guy is leading by a lot and loses in the first match, but when we're all here that's what is expected.
"I think everything where the crowd experiences a new way for us pros to play the game is good.
"I love watching the X Games on TV and stuff. And I guess if you've got a 90‑yard hole as a play-off hole, it's going to be a lot more intense than a usual 90‑yard shot is.
"I think we should work out more ways to do this."
Noren, who claimed four European Tour titles last year, admits his place in the Official World Golf Ranking puts him under extra pressure.
He added: "I obviously feel a lot more pressure than I have before.
"But when you play golf for a long time and you know where you're at, you know what you have to do in order to play well.
"So I'm just trying to work on those things and not focus too much on what everybody else thinks."
Noren will get his opening round under way alongside Gaganjeet Bhullar and Dimitrios Papadatos at 07.10 on Thursday.
