Noh prepared for title defence

Defending champion Noh Seung-yul acknowledges he faces a tough task trying to retain his Maybank Malaysian Open against three current Major Champions - but the Korean insists he will relish the challenge.

Sunday's Masters Tournament winner Charl Schwartzel, his compatriot and Open Champion Louis Oosthuizen and Martin Kaymer, the US PGA Champion and World Number One, will be amongst a host of golfing superstars eager to dethrone Noh.

But the 19 year old star believes he has the talent to match them shot for shot at Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club.

"There are a lot of good players this week including the World Number One and the new Masters champion," he said.

"I've played with Kaymer before and was beaten by him at the WGC-Accenture Match Play. And if I remember clearly, I played with Charl Schwartzel last year. I'm happy to be able to play with them before their success so I don't feel nervous playing with them again this week.

"I have been taking a rest for a month. During that month I didn't play golf for three weeks. It was first time that I've been off that long and everything feels better, psychologically and even my conditions. I think this week will be good.

"I have a lot of good memories playing here and I'm looking forward to playing this week."
