After winning his maiden DP World Tour title at the age of 32, we take a look in the bag of Niklas Nørgaard.
In his third full season as a DP World Tour member since graduating from the European Challenge Tour towards the end of 2021, the Dane achieved his breakthrough triumph at the Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo.
But what clubs did he use on his way to victory?
Having started the season at the Joburg Open in November 2023 as a TaylorMade player, Nørgaard switched to Titleist at the beginning of 2024.
However, while he has switched manufacturer, he has used the same club setup for all his 2024 events:
- Driver
- 3 wood
- hybrid
- 4-9 iron
- 4 wedges
- putter
Nørgaard has used the same 14 clubs in his previous two DP World Tour events, but he did make one recent significant change to his equipment with the introduction of a new putter at the D+D REAL Czech Masters last month.
He switched to the Odyssey Stroke Lab Tuttle, a putter which was last in play for him in December 2022.
It is a club that he has struggled to settle with, having used six putters across his 21 DP World Tour events so far this season:
- Odyssey, Stroke Lab Tuttle
- Scotty Cameron Tour Only T-5S 2024
- Scotty Cameron Tour Only GoLo S5
- Scotty Cameron Tour Only T-7 2024
- Scotty Cameron Button Back F-5.5
- TaylorMade, Spider Tour
At the top of the bag, the big-hitting Nørgaard uses the Titleist TSR3, with ten degrees of loft. It was a club which helped him finish top of the Driving - Strokes Gained (Off the Tee) category at The Belfry, with an average of +2.20 across the four rounds.
He has the same model of club for his hybrid, with a 19 degrees of loft. For his three wood, which has 16.5 degrees of loft, he uses the Titleist GT3.
Moving to the irons, he has the Titleist T100 for his 4 and 5 irons, while he uses the Titleist 620 MB's from seven to nine iron. Across his wedges (46, 50, 54 and 60 degrees).
Nørgaard uses a Titleist Pro V1 ball.
Check out the clubs he used for his two-shot victory in full below:
- Driver: Titleist TSR3 (10 degrees)
- Fairway Wood: Titleist GT3 (16.5 degrees)
- 3 Hybrid: Titleist TSR3 (19 degrees)
