With less than one month to go until the season-ending DP World Tour Championship in Dubai, spectators attending the event can look forward to a new and improved first tee area which provides an enhanced fan experience.

The 16th edition of the event takes place at Jumeirah Golf Estates from November 14-17 as part of the inaugural DP World Tour Play-Offs, along with the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, set to be held at Yas Links one week earlier.
A host of golf’s biggest names are confirmed to tee it up at the DP World Tour Championship, including Rory McIlroy, winner of last year’s Race to Dubai, Billy Horschel, who recently claimed his second BMW PGA Championship title, and Dubai resident, and Olympic silver medallist, Tommy Fleetwood
Major Champions Shane Lowry, Justin Rose, and Adam Scott are also set to be in action, alongside Genesis Scottish Open winner Robert MacIntyre as the star-studded line-up battle it out for glory in the season-ending Rolex Series event, a long-time highlight of the UAE sporting calendar.
Among the exciting new features in place for this year’s event is an enhanced first tee, which has been significantly developed to improve the spectator experience.

“We are continually assessing ways in which we can further develop the offerings at our events, and we believe these additions to the first tee will not only boost the overall spectator experience, but also benefit the players and add to the atmosphere.”
Fans wishing to enhance their experience even further can do so by purchasing Ticket+, which includes guaranteed access to The Greatest Bar on Earth viewing platform, a fun-filled area with a party ambience hosted by an MC and featuring live music throughout the day.
The shaded front area allows guests to enjoy unrivalled views of the par 3 17th hole, while Ticket+ also includes access to the 18-hole golf course and Championship Village.
Priced at AED 160 (Thursday / Friday) and AED 390 (Saturday / Sunday), Ticket+ holders can also take advantage of priority access to F&B counters and the main entrance / ticket check, while utilising the public car parking onsite, with complimentary shuttles to the main entrance.
Tickets for the Earth Lounge, situated on the 16th green, are now sold out on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with availability for Thursday only. Fans can also upgrade to a more premium experience at The Championship Chalet, situated on the 18th green, which offers an exclusive vantage point to observe the thrilling conclusion of each round.
The season-ending event will feature a range of kids’ activities with a themed Family Day, on Sunday November 17, including face painting, balloon bending, arts and crafts, magic shows and princess workshops, while House of Pops will be giving away a free plant-based fruit pop in the Championship Village to the first 200 children onsite, available from 9am.
All event ticket holders, meanwhile, can enjoy 20 per cent off Bar Fly by Buddah-Bar Brunch and the Family Imagination Brunch at Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah during the month of November.
