Min Woo Lee has been voted Hilton Golfer of the Month for February after putting in two Top-5 finishes and moving inside the Top-30 in the Race to Dubai Rankings.
The Australian received 44 per cent of the public vote ahead of the ISPS Handa World Super 6 Perth winner Ryan Fox, who collected 25 per cent of the vote to claim second place.
Lee’s month began with a fourth place finish at the Saudi International powered by SBIA, with the 20 year old being able to showcase his skills in front of the likes of Dustin Johnson and Justin Rose.
He then made it through to the match play stages of the ISPS Handa World Super 6 Perth, his home event, a year after making it through to the same match play stages as an amateur. In his rookie season on Tour, Lee hasn’t wasted time in showing the world his skills on the golf course.
Ryan Fox, who finished second in this month’s competition, picked up his maiden European Tour victory at the ISPS Handa World Super 6 Perth.
And there was also a breakthrough victory for Tour rookie David Law in Australia, after securing the inaugural ISPS Handa Vic Open title. However, the Scot would finish fourth in this month’s competition.
England’s Ian Poulter would finish in third place after picking up four consecutive Top-6 finishes and moved into second in the Race to Dubai Rankings.
Fans who cast their vote for Hilton Golfer of the Month are automatically entered into a fantastic prize draw, with one lucky voter winning a one-night stay at any Hilton hotel, anywhere in the world.
As the most recent recipient of the award, Lee will be automatically upgraded to Hilton Honors Diamond Status—Hilton’s award-winning loyalty program.
