Miguel Angel Jiménez retained the same pairings that earned a 5-0 fourballs whitewash for Friday’s foursomes at the EURASIA CUP presented by DRB-HICOM.

The Spaniard elected to go out first again with compatriot Pablo Larrazábal, again against Thai duo Thongchai Jaidee and Kiradech Aphibarnrat.

Danes Thomas Björn and Thorbjørn Olesen remained second in the line-up, with Thailand’s Prayad Marksaeng and Korean Kim Hyung-sung their opponents as Jaidee shuffled his pack.

Gonzalo Fernandez-Castaño and Scot Stephen Gallacher moved up to the third match to face Japanese duo Koumei Oda and Hideto Tanihara.

Victor Dubuisson and Joost Luiten were set to go out fourth against Anirban Lahiri and Siddikur Rahman, with Graeme McDowell and Jamie Donaldson reprising their anchor role.

They again faced local favourite Nicholas Fung, who was set to partner Gaganjeet Bhullar.

Jiménez said: “It’s going to be the same players we had today. You can't ask anything better than the way we played, and today, very relaxing, just going to relax and get ready for tomorrow.”

“You don't want to change anything that is working well. I don't know what will happen tomorrow; nobody knows.”
