Lucky competition winner walks away with Nippon Shafts

My European Tourhas given one lucky winner the ultimate professional club fitting experience and the chance to have his irons re-shafted with the new Nippon NS PRO MODUS3 Tour shaft.

Nippon Shafts Europe's Garry Price, competition winner Sam Poole, and Tour X Golf's Nick Hibbs

This is just one of the many benefits of membership with My ET with regular competitions and fantastic prizes up for grabs, along with our weekly newsletter and Fantasy Game.

Sam Poole, a seven handicapper, certainly did not regret signing up and entering our competition as he headed down to Tour X Golf in Warrington on Thursday 15 September for his expert custom fitting.

He was greeted by Nippon Shaft Europe’s Garry Price and Tour X Golf’s Nick Hibbs who carried out some quick analysis and immediately saw where improvements could be made in Sam’s existing equipment.

He said: “After a session with Trackman we found that Sam had an average swing speed of 90mph with his 6-iron, launched the ball very high and was a little erratic due to him overpowering his original shafts.

“To counteract this I suggested the new Nippon Shaft NS PRO MODUS3 Tour 120 shaft in an X flex and we had instant success resulting in lower launch, a more penetrating ball flight and a much tighter shot dispersion.”

Needless to say Sam was elated with the results and was able to collect his new custom built irons the next day.

He said: “I am thrilled to have won such a fantastic prize and was overwhelmed by Garry and Nick’s generosity.

“I would certainly recommend the Nippon Shaft NS PRO MODUS3 tour 120 shafts and a visit to be professionally fitted at Tour X Golf.”

Nippon Shafts are a European TourEquipment Sectionpartner, and players currently using their shafts have recorded over 100 professional victories worldwide.
