The 22 year old has made a big name for himself in recent years, winning the Volvo China Open last season and finishing third at this season's Open Championship at Royal Birkdale.

It was on home soil where he first made his mark in 2015, finishing second after a play-off at the Shenzhen International, making the top ten at the Volvo China Open and then finishing in a tie for seventh here in Shanghai.

He now returns to Sheshan International Golf Club as the only Chinese player in the top 100 in the Official World Golf Ranking and determined to take the next step in his blossoming professional career.

"This is one of the tournaments that I felt that I can win and so I'm looking forward to not only winning this tournament but to have improvement on my record in this year's tournament," he said.
