The Legends Tour has withdrawn Jarmo Sandelin from the Farmfoods European Legends Links Championship hosted by Ian Woosnam after he tested positive for Covid-19.
The Swede, who has not exhibited any symptoms, tested negative before travelling to England and also tested negative on-site at Trevose Golf & Country Club. However, his day two test following his arrival in England returned a positive result.
As a precaution Sandelin has now been isolated pending further testing in line with guidance from Public Health England and will be supported throughout by the Legends Tour’s medical and event staff.
He has been replaced in the field by England’s Peter Scott.
