Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge: Three to Watch

The Road to Mallorca remains in France for the second of back-to-back events in the country with the players teeing it up in the tenth edition of the Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge at Golf PGA France du Vaudreuil. Here are three players to look out for this week...

Nicolai Kristensen

Form horse

Nicolai Kristensen has been in red-hot form on the Road to Mallorca with three top five finishes this month. A tied fifth place finish at the D+D Real Czech Challenge was followed by tied second at the Andalucía Challenge de Cádiz, and then another tied fifth the following week at the Kaskáda Golf Challenge. The 31-year-old will be feeling rejuvenated heading into the Le Vaudreuil Challenge after taking last week off and a win could be just around the corner.

Felix Mory1

Local boy

Félix Mory will tee it up at Le Vaudreuil following his best finish of the season last week. A tied fourth finish at the Blot Open de Bretagne on home soil came after placing tied ninth at the Kaskáda Golf Challenge the week before. For the leading Frenchman after the two back-to-back events, there’s also a place in the Cazoo Open de France on the DP World Tour up for grabs. Mory currently sits alongside Jérôme Lando-Casanova at the top of that list after the first week. He’s also won on the Challenge Tour before. The 28-year-old triumphed at the Dormy Open back in 2021.

Will Enefer

The outsider

Will Enefer finished in a tie for third place at the B-NL Challenge at the end of May, producing a moving day round of 67 before a final round 66 put him in contention down the stretch. That was the Englishman’s first outing of the season on the Challenge Tour but with more playing time under his belt since, he’ll be hoping to recapture that form. Despite a missed cut at the Blot Open de Bretagne last week, the 25-year-old remains in 60th on the Road to Mallorca and is primed to climb the Rankings should he do well this week in France.
