Last chance to win a golf break with the Shot of the Year - voting ends TODAY!

VOTING ENDS ON FRIDAY JANUARY 13, 2012!

Choose from one of these 12 efforts as your European Tour Shot of the Year 2011

The 2011 Race to Dubai is run and now it is down to you, the fans, to choose the European Tour Shot of the Year by voting in our competition offering the sensational prize of a golf break to two of our European Tour Destinations – London Golf Club and Le Golf National.

It really couldn’t be simpler. You choose your favourite shot from the 12 monthly winners listed below, and we could be sending you to London Golf Club – host of the European Open from 2008-2009 – before whisking you away via Eurostar to Paris and Le Golf National to play the course that has not only hosted the French Open 17 times, but will also welcome The Ryder Cup in 2018.

The prize includes golf for two people at these two European Tour Destinations, accommodation in 4* hotels near both venues and up to £1,000 for flights and Eurostar to get you to and from London Golf Club and Le Golf National.

It really is a thrilling prize for any European Tour fan – but you’ve got to be in it to win it – so log into your My European Tour account, or register with us, for your chance to get 2012 off to a flying start by teeing it up at a couple of the finest golfing destinations Europe has to offer.

Beginning at London Golf Club, our winner will head south east of the UK capital to Kent where they will sample the sumptuous yet relaxing atmosphere of the clubhouse and superb facilities. After a brisk warm up on the range, a tee time on the Jack Nicklaus-designed Heritage course will be waiting, as you follow in the footsteps of European Open winners Christian Cevaer and 2010 Ryder Cup hero Ross Fisher.

With dramatic tee shots and daunting approaches, you will experience a challenging but picturesque round of what we hope is your best golf over the Heritage, to then be whisked away to the Ashford International rail terminal where you will journey in style to Paris via Eurostar, and on to one of the most exciting venues on The European Tour International Schedule.

Le Golf National is currently ranked inside the top ten courses in Europe, and 64th in Golf World UK’s last global list, with a final few holes that are known to strike fear into even the best pros. Will you manage to hold your nerve and tame the closing stretch – we hope so.
