The Spaniard shot six birdies and two bogeys to post a four under par round of 68 in windy conditions at the hilly Blackstone Golf Club in Icheon, near the Korean capital Seoul.

His display moved the 29 year old to eight under par, one shot behind leader Alex Noren going into the final round.

“I’ve been here at this event for six years, and I love tough conditions. I love windy conditions and I love tight pin positions – I love to have fun that way,” said the two-time European Tour winner.

“It’s very special to now be in the final group in one of the most important tournaments on The European Tour Schedule here in Asia.”

Jon Lane, Global Marketing Manager, Ballantine’s, presented Larrazábal with his prize following the conclusion of the third round on Saturday evening.
