Joakim Lagergren turned in 34 to cut Bradley Dredge's lead to one shot on day three of the Made in Denmark.
Dredge came into the third round at Himmerland Golf & Spa Resort with a three-shot advantage and a formidable record having finished second and sixth in the first two stagings of this event.
He could not move on from 13 under, however, and three birdies and a bogey from Lagergren made it tight at the top in northern Denmark.
Portuguese Ricardo Gouveia was then at 11 under, a shot clear American David Lipsky and Belgium's Thomas Pieters.
Lagergren birdied the second and third and when Dredge had to take a drop after a wild second shot on the next, the duo were level at 12 under.

The 2015 Road to Oman winner turned in 31 with birdies on the first, fourth, fifth, sixth and eighth and when he made another on the 11th, he was just a shot off the lead. However, a first bogey of the day was to follow on the 12th and Lagergren soon dropped a shot with a three-putt on the ninth.
