Here is everything you need to know from Thursday's first round at Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea.
Rozner storms clear
Antoine Rozner equalled his lowest career 18-hole score on Thursday morning as he posted a nine-under-par 63 to lead by four shots. The Frenchman has enjoyed a fine 2023 season so far, recording one victory and three other top-ten finishes in nine starts. He said: "A lot of things went my way today. I obviously played well but you need a bit of luck to shoot 63, especially on a hard golf course like this one."
Home heroes put on a show
There were plenty of South Korean flags on show towards the top end of the leaderboard on day one, with Park Sanghyun leading the home charge on five under par. He made six birdies and one bogey to sign for a first-round 67, and said: "I’m satisfied with my play. The course was quite challenging, but I did well. It has been a long time since I have played on the DP World Tour and especially in Korea, so I am very happy." His countryman Lee Hyungjoon was another shot back after carding an opening 68.
Sullivan's birdie blitz
Englishman Andy Sullivan got off to a sensational start on Thursday, reeling off four birdies in a row from the second hole. This enormous putt at the fifth was the best of the bunch...
Paul produces big finish
Germany's Yannik Paul finished his round with a flourish, notching an eagle at the 18th to sign for a 68 which also featured four birdies and two bogeys. He said: "The eagle was nice, it makes the dinner taste a bit better. I had 214 metres to the pin, a little bit downwind, so I had to hit a perfect four iron just left of it, and that’s exactly how it came out. Landed just short of the green and rolled up to 20 feet and I made the putt."
Colsaerts' brilliant balance
Despite only just being able to get a stance, Nicolas Colsaerts produced this bit of magic from just above a bunker...
