The DP World Tour returns to The International for the first time since 2019 as the KLM Open continues its reign as one of the longest-standing events - having been part of the original schedule since 1972 (with the exception of 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic).

Players making their way back to this venue will see one notable change in the set-up from 2019, which sees the 11th hole play as a short 127-yard par three, rather than a 322 yard par four.

Pablo Larrazábal makes his return this week to defend the title he captured in style last season, while home hopes will be pinned on Joost Luiten and Darius van Driel, who earned his first DP World Tour title earlier this year at the Magical Kenya Open.

Elsewhere, Jamie Donaldson will join elite company when he tees up for his 500th career start on the DP World Tour, while others make their way back from Pinehurst Resort & Country Club after competing at last week's U.S. Open.

If you have not done so already, you can sign up to play the official 2024 DP World Tour Fantasy game here and submit your six-man team before round one gets under way on Thursday.

The 2024 season-long winner will win a trip to the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai next year, enjoy a lesson with a DP World Tour professional and a round of golf on the Earth Course at Jumeirah Golf Estates. For more information on this amazing prize and others, read here.

Here, we pick out three players in action this week who are worth considering for your Fantasy team selections.

Favourite: Matt Wallace

The Englishman, who currently features in 66% of teams among Fantasy users, makes his way back to tee up in his first regular DP World Tour event since his runner-up finish at the DP World Tour Championship at the end of last year.

The KLM Open is an event Wallace has historically performed strongly across different venues with three top tens in four starts, including a third place finish in 2019 at this week's venue.

Predominantly on the PGA Tour this season, his recent form includes a tied fourth finish at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, T20 at the Myrtle Beach Classic, T43 at the US PGA Championship and T27 at the RBC Canadian Open.

Form Horse: Tom McKibbin

Fresh from his first Major Championship - and first made cut in a Major - at last week's U.S. Open, Tom McKibbin makes his way back across the pond ready to continue a steady run of form on the DP World Tour.

WIth just one missed cut all season, the Northern Irishman year has been underpinned by a host of top tens at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters, Jonsson Workwear Open, ISPS HANDA Championship and the European Open - where he finished in a tie for eighth.

Currently ranked fifth in scoring average on the DP World Tour, it's no surprise McKibbin currently features in 17% of teams as he gets ready to make his second appearance in the KLM Open.

Wild Card: Tom Vaillant

The Frenchman, who makes his KLM Open debut this week, is currently only in 2.09% of teams but his form of late suggests he's one to watch.

Having graduated from the Challenge Tour last season, Vaillant started the season somewhat slowly but he had no trouble in recent weeks. Starting with a tie for seventh at the ISPS HANDA Championship, he since made the cut at both the Volvo China Open and Soudal Open, before a tie for 18th in his most recent start at the European Open that would have been a lot better if not for a disappointing final day.

One of the recent strengths of his game has been par four scoring, having ranked 12th in China and seventh at the European Open in that particular stat, which is one he'll be hoping to carry over into this week.
