60- Matthew Fitzpatrick's brilliant second round - the lowest of the 2015 season albeit recorded under preferred lies

2 - Inches Fitzpatrick was from recording an incredible 59 after his birdie putt on the ninth - his last - came up just short

64 - Soren Kjeldsen's score for the second day running. The diminutive Dane leads by one after 36 holes on -12

1  - Solitary bogey on Kjeldsen's card at the halfway stage as he looks for his second win on a links course this season after the Irish Open triumph earlier in the year

63- David Horsey began his run to glory at last month's Made in Denmark with a 63. He started yesterday with a 63 again and after a 66 on Thursday, he's back in the mix for the second week running after finishing third last week in Russia. Form.

7 - Rounds in a row Lee Slattery has shot in the 60s now on The European Tour after his second day 65 (68-66-67-67-69-66-65). He's 27 under par for that period.

67 - Players made the cut on three under par or better, including Tom Watson, who continues his record of having never missed a weekend in a regular European Tour event in 40-odd years

66 - The American legend's age (plus seven days). He becomes the second oldest to make the cut on The European Tour after Bob Charles, who was aged 71 years and 261 days at the 2008 New Zealand Open.

137 - Lowest cut so far in The 2015 Race to Dubai, bettering the 138 set at July's Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open
