George Coetzee was replaced at the top of the Portugal Masters leaderboard by Masahiro Kawamura and Laurie Canter in the early stages of the final round.
Kawamura, who is chasing his maiden European Tour title this week, made a brilliant up-and-down at the first before curling in lengthy birdie putts on the second and third to move to 12 under par and leapfrog overnight leader Coetzee, who started his round with three straight pars.
He was soon joined at the top by Englishman Canter after he added to birdies at the second and third with another on the long fifth.
Sebastian Garcia Rodriguez and South African Coetzee were one shot behind the co-leaders in a tie for third on 11 under.
Jorge Campillo was the leader in the clubhouse on nine under after making an eagle, four birdies and a bogey in his closing 66.
