Tony Johnstone will return to La Moye Golf Club with some fond memories having secured a fairytale maiden European Senior Tour victory against all the odds at the venue two years ago.
The Zimbabwean was told by doctors he would never play golf again after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis four year previously.
However after undergoing a revolutionary drug treatment he returned to the game and finished two strokes clear of former Ryder Cup player Gordon J Brand, Ross Drummond, Angel Franco and Bertus Smit to win the Jersey Seniors Classic – an emotional victory he thought he would never achieve.
