AJ, as Austin is more commonly known, was on the bag when Johnson claimed his maiden Major Championship at Oakmont, as well as his two other victories on the US PGA Tour, and for the United States’ victory in The Ryder Cup.  He collected the award from Giles Morgan, HSBC’s Global Head of Sponsorship and Events, at the awards evening hosted by the BBC’s voice of golf, Andrew Cotter, following the opening round of the WGC-HSBC Champions at Sheshan International Golf Club.
