We take a look in the bag of Nedbank Golf Challenge winner Johannes Veerman.
Veerman uses a full set of PING clubs, as was the case for his maiden DP World Tour win at the D+D REAL Czech Masters in 2021.
The American, who first earned his Tour card through Qualifying School in 2019, hasn’t changed his set up often throughout 2024, occasionally implementing a three iron to his bag and dropping his five wood.
However, in his first start of the new season and on his debut at the Nedbank Golf Challenge in Sun City, he had both his five wood and three iron in play, instead opting to take out his four iron.

Other than that, the only other alteration to his bag from his first start of the year at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic was the switch to a PING PLD Anser 30 putter from a Sigma 2 Tyne that he made ahead of last month’s DP World Tour Championship.
After finishing the back end of the 2024 Race to Dubai in fine form - registering four top 20 finishes in his last five starts – the victory capped the ideal way for the 32-year-old to close out his year.
