Irish Open swings sponsorship deal with Dale Farm

Leading local dairy business Dale Farm has agreed an important sponsorship deal with The Dubai Duty Free Irish Open, hosted by the Rory Foundation, which will take place at Royal County Down Golf Club in Newcastle next month. As well as being named as an Official Sponsor, Dale Farm will become the Official Supplier of ice cream and dairy products at Royal County Down throughout the duration of the tournament.

Jason Hempton, Dale Farm Commercial Director – Branded Products said: “Dale Farm has a long standing association with sport in Northern Ireland, from grassroots to elite level, whether that be supporting school sports days, upcoming athletes or professional sports teams. We sponsored the Irish Open in 2012 and are proud to once again be coming on board as the tournament returns to Northern Ireland.”

The Dubai Duty Free Irish Open will take place from 28th – 31st May at Royal County Down Golf Club, Newcastle, with some of the world’s greatest golfers including world number one Rory McIlroy and fellow Northern Ireland players Darren Clarke and Graeme McDowell taking part.

“The Irish Open will draw media spotlight from across the globe and attract a huge audience to Royal County Down. Our presence at the event gives us a fantastic opportunity to showcase our world class dairy products, in particular our extensive range of ice creams, so alongside some of golf’s icons, will be some of Northern Ireland’s most iconic products!” said Jason.
