Field & Format:
156 Players, 72 hole strokeplay with a cut to the top 60 and ties after 36 holes.
Tickets:
Entrance to the event will be free of charge, but spectators should register for their free tickets.

Getting Here
Taxi:
Taxi drop off is recommended. Please direct your taxi to The K Club Palmer South.
Parking:
We strongly advise car sharing where possible.
Spectators can park on-site at the venue, in Car Park 3. Please follow AA road signs to The Irish Challenge.

Once Here
Welcome and Ticket Check:
Please visit the Welcome tent and present your ticket to check in to the event.
Food & Beverage:
Spectators can purchase F&B from The K Club Kiosk, open from 09:00 - 17:00.

FAQs
Prize Presentation:
The prize presentation will take place upon the conclusion of play on Sunday 31 July. Location - 18th green.
Prize Money:
Prize fund - €250,000
Winner's prize - €40,000
Event Hub:
The Irish Challenge Event Hub is where you will find all the tournament information and updates, including daily draws, course map, leaderboard and much more. Event Hub QR codes can be scanned to access all the information you will need, and these will be displayed as you enter the tournament and within the Championship Village and catering areas.
Contactless / Cash Payments:
Food and beverage can be purchased using both cash and card. Please note that there will be no ATMs onsite.
Dress Code:
Appropriate footwear should be worn to avoid injury. Please check the weather forecast before you set off on your journey.
Spectator's Etiquette:
- Remain still for each shot and do not move until all the players in the group have played or holed out.
- Kneel or sit down if you are in the front row. Consider other spectators when using an umbrella.
- Do not speak to the players while they are on the course.
- Please keep behind the ropes and barriers on the course and use the official crossing points.
- Walk, don’t run, and obey the course marshals – they are trying to make your day more enjoyable.
- There is no dress code in public areas.
- Dress accordingly for the weather conditions. Sensible shoes should be worn. No metal spikes allowed.
- During play, spectators are prohibited from asking for player autographs.
- Please listen to any public address announcements and follow instructions from officials and volunteers should they be necessary.
Course:
Spectators can move freely around the golf course, there will be rope lines in place around certain holes during the event. Spectators are requested to please abide by the rope lines and stay outside the ropes.
Evacuation Procedure:
If it is necessary to evacuate the site, please follow the instructions of the course marshals, volunteers and event officials in an orderly fashion.
Practice:
The practice days prior to the event days are not open to the public. The event is open to the public from Thursday to Sunday.
The access point to the practice range is to the left to the 1st hole and behind the putting green.
The putting green is located to the left of the 1st tee.
Marshals:
The K Club will be managing the volunteer programme for the Irish Challenge. The marshals are extremely influential in helping to ensure that play runs smoothly.
The purpose of a marshal is to ensure that the players are able to compete under the best conditions.
Many of the marshals have volunteered at a number of other golf events across the country and have a good understanding of the appropriate golfing etiquette.
Phone Charging:
No phone charging stations are available.
Merchandise:
There will be no official event merchandise. However, spectators are welcome to visit the K Club Palmer South professional shop, located within the Palmer South clubhouse, In addition, Kwack Golf, the event's Official Apparel Sponsor, will be on site in the Championship Village, showcasing their range of products which will be available to purchase.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
No picnics / picnic hampers allowed.
Alcoholic beverages are also not permitted to be brought into the venue.
Grandstands:
There will be no grandstands at the event.
Viewing Platforms:
There will be no viewing platforms at the event.
Additional Seating:
There will be no additional seating at the event.
Inclement Weather:
Spectators are advised to take precautions prior to play being suspended. If the siren sounds, seek shelter immediately, avoiding the following:
Open areas, hilltops or high places, isolated trees, golf buggies and wire fences.
Bookmaker:
There will be no bookmaker facilities on site.
Is there a Public Crèche?
There will not be a public crèche at this event.
Can I bring a child’s buggy/pushchair?
Yes you can. However please be aware of uneven terrain. Children should always be accompanied by an adult.
The ground is uneven and particularly under wet conditions the ground may become slippery therefore appropriate footwear should be worn to avoid injury.
Left Luggage:
There will not be a left luggage facility at the event.
Can I bring a bag / rucksack?
Bags and rucksacks are permitted at the Championship and there are no restrictions on size.
