Inside the field: The G4D Open

The G4D Open returns to Woburn for its second edition, with many of the world's most talented golfers with disabilities competing against one another.

Held from May 15-17, a field of 80 male and female players will assemble to compete over the Duchess Course, with 19 countries represented.

Fourteen of the top 20 players from the World Ranking for Golfers with Disability (WR4GD) are in the field, including all of the top five.

Amateur and professional golfers will contest the 54-hole stroke play gross competition across the sport classes which cover various categories in Standing, Intellectual, Visual and Sitting.

Ireland's Brendan Lawlor is the defending champion having edged out World Number One Kipp Popert in last year's inaugural edition.
