Another edition of European Tour Qualifying School Final Stage is in the books, and we take a look at some of the key numbers from the life-changing tournament.
1,063 - The number of competitors who have teed it up at the three stages of Qualifying School this season, exceeding the previous record of 1,026 players which was set in 2017.
25 - under par. The winning total of Benjamin Poke who carded his best score of the week in the final round, a seven under par 64, to finish the tournament six shots clear of his closest competition. Poke recorded sub-70 totals in all six rounds at Lumine Golf Club.
28 - European Tour cards secured following the completion of the six-round marathon at Lumine Golf Club.
28 - The age difference, in years, between Bradley Dredge and Rasmus Højgaard, the oldest and youngest players to secure their cards. At 46-years-old Dredge is 28 years older than the young Dane, who at 18-years-old is the first player born in the 2000s to secure his playing privileges at Qualifying School.
4 - French players graduated, matching the Qualifying School record. Three-time European Tour winner Grégory Havret, was the leading Frenchman after securing second position. Jean-Baptiste Gonnet, Robin Sciot-Siegrist and Adrien Saddier also made it through Final Stage.
16 - Different nationalities earned European Tour cards at Final Stage. England led the qualifiers with six players: Marcus Armitage, Laurie Canter, Dave Coupland, Garrick Porteous, Toby Tree and Dale Whitnell.
-12 - The score required to earn a European Tour card in the 108-hole tournament. Four players made it on the mark, Gonnet, Whitnell and Swedes Niklas Lemke and Rikard Karlberg.
50 - the distance, in feet, of Karlberg’s final putt, which he holed to qualify on the number.
1 - The number of players to successfully come through all three stages of Qualifying School. Gonnet began his 252-hole journey started in Italy at First Stage Europe Section D Bogogno Golf Resort where he made it through on the cut line before he navigated his way through Second Qualifying Stage Desert Springs, also making it to Final Stage on the cut line.
144 - American Johannes Veerman position on the leaderboard after his first two rounds. The American would follow a pair of opening 74s, with rounds of 66-66-67-67 to complete the comeback and earn a European Tour card.
63 - The final round of American Sihwan Kim, which matched the low round of the week. The eight under par total moving him 68 places up the leaderboard and earning him a European Tour card.
