In-form Dubuisson set for Crans

Victor Dubuisson has confirmed he will make a fourth consecutive appearance at the Omega European Masters when the tournament returns to Crans Montana from September 4-7, 2014.

Victor Dubuisson

The 24 year old Frenchman has been in great form since his win at the Turkish Airlines
Open last November, when he held off some of the biggest names in golf to secure his first title on The European Tour, before adding an excellent third place at the season-ending DP World Tour Championship, Dubai.

The Cannes player then sprang to prominence on the world stage in finishing runner-up at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship earlier this year, a scrambling, brilliant performance which saw the enigmatic Dubuisson nicknamed Cactus Boy, having played two remarkable recovery shots from the desert.

With a maiden place in European Ryder Cup team all-but secure, reinforced by a highly-respectable ninth place finish at The 143rd Open Championship at Hoylake, Dubuisson currently resides at eighth in The Race to Dubai and 21st in the Official World Golf Ranking and will be targetting a second European Tour title when he returns to Golf Club Crans-sur-Sierre in September.

Dubuisson, will be hoping to build upon a third place finish last year in Switzerland, when the Frenchman fired 65-66-66 in the final three rounds to narrowly miss out on joining Thomas Bjorn and Craig Lee in a deciding play-off in the Alps.

Miguel-Ángel Jiménez, a winner in Crans back in 2010, will join Dubuisson along with two-time winner Björn and fellow starlet Matteo Manassero.
