Ahead of the 60th
anniversary edition of the BMW PGA Championship it has been announced that HSBC will be the Official Bank for The European Tour’s flagship event to be held at Wentworth Club from May 22-25.

It will mark a return to the esteemed venue’s West Course for HSBC, which sponsored the long running World Match Play Championship for five years from 2003, and is in addition to their support of the first event of the Desert Swing, the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship, won this year by Pablo Larrazábal.
As a long standing sponsor within the game, HSBC will also continue to be involved as a proud patron of the 143rd Open Championship this July, as well as being the title sponsor of the year’s final World Golf Championships event, the WGC-HSBC Champions.

With players including the 2013 Race to Dubai Number One Henrik Stenson, Major Champions Ernie Els and Justin Rose, as well as Ryder Cup stars Sergio Garcia, Ian Poulter and Lee Westwood already confirmed to tee it up at Wentworth next month, it is sure to be a Championship worthy of its 60th anniversary.
