How to get to the Horizon Irish Open

How to get to the Horizon Irish Open by Car

  • We are implementing a Park & Ride system for all public that will be driving to the event. Please note, Park & Ride will add 15-30 minutes to your journey so please plan accordingly.
  • There will be NO public parking on site at the K Club.
  • Please follow all VMS signage on the Motorway and AA signage.

From the M4 Westbound Traffic

  • Traffic travelling from Dublin will use the M4 Westbound
  • Traffic will be directed off at Junction 8 - Kilcock using AA signage and VMS.
  • 1st exit onto the R407 for Clane. 2nd exit at the roundabout following the R407 for Clane.
  • At Baltracey Cross left onto L1010
  • Left again at Ladychapel Cross onto the R408
  • Follow for parking

From the M4 Eastbound Traffic

  • Traffic travelling Eastbound will use the M4 East.
  • Traffic will be directed off at Junction 8 - Kilcock using AA signage and VMS.
  • 3rd exit onto the R407 for Clane. 2nd exit at the roundabout following the R407 for Clane.
  • At Baltracey Cross left onto L1010
  • Left again at Ladychapel Cross onto the R408
  • Follow for parking

From the M7 Travelling Eastbound

  • Traffic travelling eastbound on the M7 will be directed off at Junction 9a, on to the Sallins Bypass.
  • 1st exit following the Sallins Bypass.
  • Left (1st exit) on the roundabout to R407 for Clane.
  • In Clane, take 3rd exit onto Clane Relief Road.
  • Straight on the roundabout staying on Clane Relief Road.
  • 2nd exit onto R403 for Celbridge/Straffan.
  • Left on the Barberstown Roundabout onto R406 for Maynooth.
  • Left at Taghadoe Cross on L5037 and right onto L5032.
  • Across the R408 continuing the L5032 to parking.

From the M7 Travelling Westbound

  • Traffic travelling eastbound on the M7 will be directed off at Junction 9a, on to the Sallins Bypass.
  • 1st exit following the Sallins Bypass.
  • Left (1st exit) on the roundabout to R407 for Clane.
  • In Clane, take 3rd exit onto Clane Relief Road.
  • Straight on the roundabout staying on Clane Relief Road.
  • 2nd exit onto R403 for Celbridge/Straffan.
  • Left on the Barberstown Roundabout onto R406 for Maynooth.
  • Left at Taghadoe Cross on L5037 and right onto L5032.
  • Across the R408 continuing the L5032 to parking.

Travelling by Train

We will be serving the following Irish Rail train stations with shuttle services:

  • Maynooth Train Station
  • Hazel Hatch Train Station

We will also have a ticket van at each rail station where you can pay for tickets, but it is advisable to pre-book online.

To book, visit www.expressway.ie and enter the Irish Open as your destination.

Then, on the next screen, enter Irish Open Maynooth or Hazel Hatch as your travel from and select whether you want single or return tickets in the 6 - 10 September date range. For assistance with reservations, please call our Customer Care team on 0818 836 611.

Coach Trips

If you are travelling via a private hired coach, then please follow signs for the Park & Ride offsite.

Travelling by Taxi

All passengers travelling by Taxi will need to follow signage to the Park & Ride offsite as no taxis will be permitted on site at the K Club.
