Alex Noren could've been forgiven for thinking his chances of winning the Nedbank Golf Challenge hosted by Gary Player had gone after three days of action at last year's event in Sun City, with Jeunghun Wang taking a three shot lead over Louis Oosthuizen into Sunday, and the Swede six shots back.
However the 35 year old was a man in the form of his life having already won three times on the European Tour in 2016, and was soon in contention again at the Gary Player Country Club after birdieing his first three holes - the last of which came following a fine approach up the hill at the third hole.
After a further gain came at the fifth hole, Noren birdied the seventh and eighth holes after making two long putts to go out in just 30 shots - a move up the leaderboard which wasn't going unnoticed by his rivals.
Alex moved into the outright lead courtesy of an eagle at the 10th hole, before sending the galleries wild thanks to an amazing chip-in at 11.
One further birdie followed for the nine time European Tour winner at the 16th hole, who eventually went on to sign for a nine under par final round 63, which left his competitors trailing in his wake.
It was Noren's fourth win in just 11 events, and a victory which received plaudits from across the golfing world. See the best of his final round here...
