Maximilian Kieffer, Yannik Paul and Marcel Siem are hopeful that the home fans will turn out in force this week as Germany welcomes four reigning DP World Tour champions to a home event for the first time at the Porshe European Open.
Kieffer's victory at last season's D+D Real Czech Masters was the first by a German player for over seven years but was followed swiftly by Paul's win at the Mallorca Golf Open.
Siem then lifted the trophy at the Hero Indian Open before, most recently, Nick Bachem triumphed at the Jonsson Workwear Open to make it a stunning seven months for German golf.
The home fans will certainly have something to cheer on Thursday, with Kieffer paired with Paul and Bachem playing alongside Siem, and the home heroes are looking forward to putting on a show.
"I can’t wait to play with Nick (Bachem)," said Siem. "To be honest, I think we have played only three practice rounds together so far. So I’m very, very excited. I’m very excited to see him play under tournament conditions.
"It will be great for the crowds as well because in the past unfortunately in German tournaments they have separated us and then you have a bunch of people over there and a bunch over there.
"It will be great, I can’t wait for that. It will be fun."
Paul added: "We only have two events each year, so it’s special to play in front of the home crowd.
"Playing with Max Kieffer tomorrow, another German player out there. I think it’s going to be a great week and I’m looking forward to it. It’s going to be great.
"I saw in the afternoon Marcel is playing with Nick and I’m playing with Max, hopefully a lot of people come out.
"The weather forecast looks absolutely amazing. So I’m hoping for a big crowd and hopefully a lot of people can cheer us on and hopefully we can make a lot of birdies."
Kieffer was the man to get the ball rolling on German golf's current purple patch in Prague, and the 32-year-old is enjoying having a host of his countrymen succeeding on Tour.
"I’m looking forward to seeing the German crowds out," he said. "It should be a great week.
"Getting here is quite easy. Especially coming from the Netherlands last week, you can drive home, then here, travel-wise it’s quite easy.
"Then you see a lot of friends and people you know. It’s sometimes difficult to focus on the golf, but it’s a great week and I’m looking forward to the crowds for sure.
"You always chat to people here and there and there’s a lot of German guys out on Tour anyway. Most weeks there’s a bit more chatting and more of a social life, that’s for sure. It’s nice, I enjoy it."
