The Euram Bank Open will take place at Golf Club Adamstal from July 14-17, 2022. Austria has provided the stage for some memorable moments in European Challenge Tour history...
Brier’s double
Markus Brier secured his maiden European Challenge Tour victory on home soil at the 2002 Austrian Open at Golfclub Murhof. Two years later Brier won the BA-CA Golf Open presented by Telekom Austria, becoming only the sixth player in Challenge Tour history to win the same tournament twice.
Brier went on to make history by again winning on home soil at the 2006 BA-CA Golf Open presented by Telekom Austria as he became the first Austrian winner on The DP World Tour.
Manley secures third title
Stuart Manley claimed his third Challenge Tour title in dramatic fashion after making a birdie on the 72nd hole to secure a one-stroke victory at the 2021 Euram Bank Open.
The Welshman’s previous wins came at the 2013 Finnish Challenge and 2018 Hauts de France Golf Open.
Hill wins at Adamstal
Calum Hill carded just three bogeys in 72 holes to win the 2019 Euram Bank Open at Golf Club Adamstal.
The Scotsman went on to earn graduation from the Challenge Tour in 2019 and picked up his maiden DP World Tour title at the Cazoo Classic last season.
