With just five weeks remaining until the US$8 million season-ending DP World Tour Championship, which takes place at Jumeirah Golf Estates from Thursday 17 to Sunday 20 November, the 24-year-old took his season total to 2,099,908 as he hunts down Race to Dubai front runners, England's Danny Willett, Sweden's Henrik Stenson and Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy.

“The most important thing is winning tournaments and doing as well as you can,” said Hatton after picking up a winner’s cheque for €711,073. “Obviously the money comes with it but for all the golfers out here, we want to win tournaments. And hopefully for me, this is just the start of many to come and I can keep performing to this level and have another great week when I get to Dubai.”

Fisher and Sterne gained 370,562 points each after sharing second place, with both of them making sizeable jumps in the Race to Dubai rankings.
Fisher moved from 34th to 17th while Sterne moved 36 positions as he catapulted from 71st to 35th to break into the top 60 and book his place in the DP World Tour Championship.

Sweden's Joakim Lagergren finished fourth and won 213,322 points which moved him from 96th to 54th with a season-total of 464,150 points as he is now within closing distance to book his place in the prestigious season-ending championship in Dubai.

Scotland's Marc Warren came in fifth and managed to collect 180,897 points and moved from 125th to 70th, and with his season-total increased to 367,968 points he needs to continue his good form in order to secure his place at Jumeriah Golf Estates.

Germany's Martin Kaymer broke into the Race to Dubai’s top 10 after finishing sixth in Scotland to gain 49,325 points.

Germany's Florian Fritsch, Denmark's Soren Kjeldsen, Italy's Renato Paratore and Bernd Wiesberger of Austria shared seventh and each won 103,888 points.

Fritsch moved from 143rd to 111st as he closes in on the top 110 position required to retain his 2016 playing privileges with two events remaining. Kjeldsen moved from 21st to 18th, Wiesberger moved from 25th to 23rd while Paratore is edging closer to the top 60 as he moved from 81st to 63rd.

Alex Noren of Sweden, Wales' Bradley Dredge, Lasse Jensen of Denmark and England's David Horsey all shared 11th place.

Horsey moved from 65th into the all-important top 60 as he looks for one final push to secure his ticket to Dubai.

Meanwhile, at the Fiji International, Brandt Snedeker of the USA stormed to win his first European Tour title with a nine shot victory and carded a round of 68 to finish 16 under. New Zealand's Michael Hendry came in second a level par 72.
