Guide Dogs has been appointed as the Official Charity Partner of the Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo, which will take place at The Belfry from August 29 – September 1.
One of the UK’s leading sight loss charities, Guide Dogs will be the Official Charity Partner of the Betfred British Masters for the first time, as the popular tournament marks the beginning of the DP World Tour’s Back 9 on the Race to Dubai.
Six-time Major Champion Sir Nick Faldo, who hosts the Betfred British Masters for the second consecutive year, has chosen Guide Dogs to be this year’s beneficiary as a charity close to his heart.
Guide Dogs helps people with sight loss live the life they choose. Whether it’s children or adults, friends or family. Whoever they are, the expert staff, volunteers and life-changing dogs are there to help them.

Tournament host Sir Nick Faldo said: “Guide Dogs is an amazing charity and I’m delighted to be supporting them as host of the 2024 Betfred British Masters.
“The work Guide Dogs do every day is incredibly important, with over two million people living with sight loss in the UK alone.
“The Betfred British Masters has raised thousands of pounds for various charities over the years and I am hopeful of continuing that trend this year and making a real difference to the people who benefit from Guide Dogs’ services.”
Tournament Title Partners Betfred have once again pledged to support the fundraising efforts and will donate £500 for every eagle made during the week, as well as £500 for every player that drives the famous tenth green on the Brabazon Course.
They will also donate £50,000 for the first hole-in-one made by a professional on the iconic par-three 14th hole, the same hole where Sir Nick recorded an ace during the 1993 Ryder Cup.

The ever-popular Long-Putt Challenge will return to the PGA Village, alongside the Iconic Shots Simulator, giving spectators the opportunity to win fantastic prizes and donate to Guide Dogs, while the Drive the Green simulator will be located in the Brabazon Village. Spectators can take part in each of the activations for a minimum donation of just £3, while donation points will be situated in various locations around The Belfry.

“Throughout the tournament spectators will have a chance to take part in numerous fun golfing challenges and activities in order to raise vital funds. Our guide dog demonstration team will also be showcasing the skills that our dogs need to help give people with a vision impairment the independence and confidence to live the life they choose.”
A strong field is assembling for the Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo, with Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald and 2016 Masters Champion Danny Willett – both of whom have hosted the tournament in previous years – confirmed, as well as rising star and Junior Ryder Cup winner Kris Kim, who will be making his DP World Tour debut. English duo Dan Brown and Matt Jordan, who finished in a share of tenth at The Open last month, will also tee it up in their home event.
This year’s tournament will be the seventh – and fourth in a row – held at The Belfry, which returned as the venue in 2021 after a 13-year absence. The Sutton Coldfield venue has played host to 20 DP World Tour events since 1979, when Seve Ballesteros triumphed at the Lada English Golf Classic.
Demand is high for tickets to The Belfry this year, with a limited number of Premium and Ticket+ Experiences remaining.
