Guerrier shines on home soil

Julien Guerrier gave the home fans something to smile about at the Vivendi Cup 2010 as he set the clubhouse target at ten under par.

The Frenchman added a three under par 69 on the Marly Course to his opening 65 on the Retz Course.

"It's a good second round," he said. "At this stage, that's good. Now I'm really happy about this day, and now I hope I will do a good weekend."

Sweden's Jarmo Sandelin was leading the way out on the course, the former Ryder Cup star reaching 12 under with five holes left to play.

That was one ahead of England's John Parry, who had two holes remaining on the Retz Course.

All three of the leading players in Paris are currently outside the top 115 on The Race to Dubai and fighting to retain their cards for next season.

Overnight leader Johan Edfors was in a tie for fourth with compatriot Pelle Edberg, England's James Morrison and Dane Søren Kjeldsen.
