The South African Qualifying School graduate currently sits in ninth place in The Race to Dubai and 51st in the Official World Golf Ranking thanks chiefly to his victories at the start of the season in the Joburg Open, the Volvo Golf Champions and the Volvo China Open.

Having made his debut at Crans-sur-Sierre in 2009, Grace will be making his second appearance at the €2.1million event, which returns to Crans Montana from August 30-Sepetmber 2.

Grace will be joined in the Swiss Alps by Ryder Cup star Peter Hanson of Sweden, who is currently on course to qualify for Captain José Maria Olazabal’s European Team after a superbly consistent campaign which has yielded five top five finishes.

At last year’s Omega European Masters the 34 year old, a winner of four European Tour titles, closed with a round of 64 en route to finishing in a tie for 25th place.

Other notable names in the world-class field include defending champion Thomas Björn of Denmark, Northern Ireland’s Darren Clarke, American John Daly, Spaniard Miguel-Angel Jiménez, Scotland’s Paul Lawrie and Australian Greg Norman.
