Thomas Björn converted two eagles and four birdies against a single bogey on his way to a superb final round 65, to win the Nedbank Golf Challenge by two shots. Looking at his Genworth Statistics for the week, the 42 year old Great Dane was exceptional in most departments, including ranking 3rd for Driving Accuracy (with 36/56 fairways), 3rd for Driving Distance (averaging 316 yards) and 1st for Greens in Regulation (with 56/72 greens), plus he also excelled in the short game and putting categories as well - all leading to the fewest dropped shots out of all the players (just three bogeys in total). With this 15th European Tour title, Thomas also climbs up to 2nd on the European Ryder Cup Points List.

Sergio GARCIA -18
Sergio Garcia converted eight birdies against a single bogey on his way to a final round 65 (the joint low round of the day alongside Björn). Looking at his Genworth Statistics for the week, the 33 year old Spanish golfer averaged a fantastic 75.0% for Driving Accuracy (7% more than any other player) together with a huge 324 yards for Driving Distance. This Sun City masterclass enabled him to hit six of the Par 5 greens in sub-regulation two shots and accumulate the most birdies out of all the players in the field (24 in total). With this runner-up result, the 10 time European Tour winner now sits in 11th position on the European Ryder Cup Points List.

Jamie Donaldson converted three birdies against a single bogey on his way to a final round 70, to finish runner-up alongside Garcia. Looking at his Genworth Statistics for the week, the 38 year old Welsh golfer was solid with the longer clubs, but it was his performance on and around the greens that stood out the most, ranking 1st or 2nd for each of the short game and putting categories. That consistency enabled the 2 time European Tour winner to rank 2nd for Par 3 Scoring and 1st for Par 4 Scoring, as well as drop the fewest shots over the week (just three bogeys in total alongside Björn). With this runner-up result, Jamie now sits in 5th position on the European Ryder Cup Points List.
