Genworth Stats Pack - Round 3 Review

Joost Luiten fired six birdies during a bogey free round of 66 (the low round of the day alongside Larrazábal) to lead by one going into the final round. Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the 27 year old golfer from the Netherlands is performing incredibly well from tee to green, ranking 4th for Driving Accuracy, 3rd for Greens in Regulation and 5th for Scrambling, plus he ranks 1st for both Par 4 Scoring and Birdies per Round, accumulating 17 birdies in total (although he is yet to birdie a Par 3 hole). Joost is looking strong and he will be very tough to beat tomorrow.

Genworth Ambassador Pablo Larrazábal also fired six birdies during a bogey free round of 66, to sit just one behind Luiten with 18 holes to play. Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the 30 year old Spanish golfer ranks 6th for Greens in Regulation, 4th for Scrambles and 10th for Putts per Round, plus he has dropped fewer shots than any other player in the field so far (just two bogeys). Pablo has already contended a few times this year, tomorrow may be his day.

Robert Rock converted three birdies against two bogeys on his way to a third round 71. The 36 year old Englishman’s Genworth Statistics are actually quite interesting, in that he ranks high for Driving Accuracy, low for Greens in Regulation and then high again for Scrambling, plus only Raphaël Jacquelin has accumulated more single putts. Robert is scoring extremely well on the Par 4’s but he may need to make a few more birdies on the Par 5’s if he is to take the title tomorrow.

Paul Casey converted six birdies against one bogey on his way to a third round 67 (his best round of the week so far). Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the 35 year old Englishman is averaging 47.6% for Driving Accuracy which is not bad considering the players are finding it difficult to hit the Carton House fairways this week. He is also averaging 70.4% for Greens in Regulation and 4.42 for Par 5 Scoring, ranking 3rd for that category.

Scott Henry followed his fantastic second round 64 with an exciting third round 69, which consisted of seven birdies and four bogeys. Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the 26 year old Scottish golfer is driving the ball long and straight off the tee and he is hitting 75.9% of the Greens in Regulation. Scott could do with a big finish tomrrow as he currently ranks down in 198th position on the Race to Dubai.
