Genworth Stats Pack - Round 3 Review

Mark Tullo converted five birdies against just one bogey on his way to a third round 68, to lead by one going into Sunday. Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the 35 year old golfer from Chile is averaging over 300 yards off the tee, but it is his approach play that really stands out. Mark ranks 1st for Greens in Regulation and 4th for Putts per GIR, confirming his approach shots are both hitting the greens and also finishing relatively close to the hole. The knock-on effect from the quality approach play is the fact that Mark is making lots of birdies and dropping very few shots.

Peter Uihlein could not quite repeat the same heroics over the Clube de Golf do Santo da Serra course today, shooting a third round score of 69. Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the 23 year old golfer from the USA is averaging a huge 320 yards off the tee, which is enabling him to hit more of the Par 5 greens in sub-regulation (two shots) than most. But it is Peter’s putting statistics that are most impressive. He ranks 3rd for Putts per GIR, 1st for Putts per Round and 3rd for 1 Putts per Round.

Craig Lee converted four birdies against two bogeys on his way to a third round 70. Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the 36 year old golfer from Scotland is showing no real weaknesses, ranking 13th for Driving Accuracy, 2nd for Greens in Regulation and 2nd for Scrambles. Craig is also putting solidly and scoring well across the different hole types (Par 3’s / Par 4’s / Par 5’s), and he is dropping very few shots the same as the leader Mark Tullo.
