Last week when Brett Rumford won in Korea he ranked 1st for all three of the Genworth Putting Statistics categories, and he is well on the way to achieving the same feat this week at the Volvo China Open. When combining the seven rounds of golf the 35 year old Australian golfer has single putted 68 times (that’s 54% of holes played). We may be witnessing one of the best putting displays in European Tour history.

Mikko ILONEN -11
Mikko Ilonen found it a little tougher going over the Binhai Lake course today in comparison to his magical 63 yesterday, but he still managed to keep himself right up there to partner Brett Rumford in the final group tomorrow. The 33 year old golfer from Finland is scoring very well on the Par 3's and Par 4's, but he may need to make a few more birdies on the Par 5’s tomorrow to take the title.

Kiradech Aphibarnrat kept himself in the hunt for his second European Tour victory of the year with an Even Par 72. Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the 23 year old rising star from Thailand is smashing the ball long and straight (averaging 315 yards off the tee), enabling him to hit 74.1% Greens in Regulation. Kiradech also ranks 1st for Par 4 Scoring but he continues to struggled a little with the Binhai Lake Par 3 holes.
