Fringe by the Tee

Fringe by the Sea will be bringing all the magic of their award-winning festival to the 2024 Genesis Scottish Open.

The Fringe by the Tee pop up stage will appear at the heart of the Genesis Scottish Open's Fan Village from the 10th to the 14th of July 2024, creating a family-friendly entertainment experience. Find out more about the various acts by clicking here or view the full festival schedule below.

19:00 - 21:00Pat Nevin DJ SetPat Nevin the former Chelsea, Everton and Scotland footballer who bamboozled all with his tricky wing play in the 80s and 90s will be spinning some of his favourite tracks for us at Fringe by the Tee. He’ll be playing sounds from a whole host of artists across the decades of his career including The Smiths, Pulp and New Order.

15:00 OnwardsMessenger Sound SystemSpend a Sunday afternoon in the company of Messenger Sound System playing a cool and relaxing style DJ set with MCs Afrikan Simba and Ista Lion + full Messenger crew in the area. Established in Edinburgh in 1987, Messenger Sound System were the first independent high powered, heavy duty sound system operating north of the border. Resident at Edinburgh’s Bongo Club and playing throughout the UK, Messenger have been holding the Roots and Culture corner from generation to generation – with a fire currently burning as bright as ever!
