The Road to Mallorca Rankings is starting to take shape with Ricardo Gouveia climbing 32 positions into third place following his victory at the Italian Challenge, his fourth European Challenge Tour title of his career.
The Portuguese sits on 71,763 points after he made the long-awaited return to the winner’s circle, with his last victory coming in 2015, and he is now in a strong position to make a return to the European Tour with the Italian Challenge boasting the biggest prize fund of the European season.

Still sitting in pole position on the Road to Mallorca Rankings is Spaniard Santiago Tarrio, who has a total of 127,493 points, 52,916 points ahead of Marcel Siem in second place. Tarrio finished in a tie for fourth position at the Italian Challenge in addition to his victories at the D+D REAL Czech Challenge and the Challenge de España, as well as further top five finishes at the Challenge de Cadiz, Open de Bretagne and Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge.
Siem, who sits in second position had an astonishing week at The 149th Open Championship after securing a tie for 15th place at Royal St George’s. The German was triumphant at Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge to claim his maiden Challenge Tour title and subsequently earn a spot in the field for The Open.
Currently sitting in fourth position is the in-form Chase Hanna who last week recorded an impressive tied sixth position at the European Tour’s Cazoo Open supported by Gareth Bale. The American has a total of 69,651 points and is closely followed Open de Bretagne winner Julien Brun who occupies fifth spot on 69,330 points.
