Tommy Fleetwood may have fired two rounds of 66 in his career at the Masters Tournament but the Englishman felt he had to play "amazing" golf to card a 70 on a cold and windy day three at Augusta National Golf Club.
As conditions have got more and more difficult throughout the week, Fleetwood has got better and better, going 75-72-70 to sit one over after 54 holes.
The man raised on the west coast of northern England knows a thing or two about playing the cold and wind and he admitted he was glad to be one of the earlier starters in round three.
“I’m very happy to be done, to be fair," he said. "But I think most of all I’m just really pleased that I’m putting some good rounds of golf together and hopefully I can keep it going.
“I played amazing today. I mean, not saying I’m the best golfer in the world, but I played really, really well in the conditions and it’s so hard to get anywhere near the pins.”
Fleetwood took advantage of the par-five second but gave the shot back on the sixth to turn in 36 before coming to life on the back nine.

He continued to impress on the par-fives, making a two-putt birdie on the 13th and getting up and down on the 15th before he put his tee-shot to eight feet on the next.
A bogey on the 17th dropped him back over par but with few players in red numbers, he is hoping conditions can stay the same as he aims for a career-best Masters finish.
"If I am going to have any kind of a sniff or have a good finish, I need the conditions to be like this and then play well so it was good when we came here this morning," he said.
“But I think yesterday (Friday) was also an important round. Without playing well yesterday I don’t really give myself a chance to play well today.
“And I’m not doing anything different, it’s just that you get the chance to play and end up shooting a good score today, so we’ll see where that finishes.”
