Fleetwood and Rahm among superstars named for Hero Challenge

Race to Dubai leader Tommy Fleetwood will make his Hero Challenge debut when he is joined by World Number Five Jon Rahm, Swedish sensation Alex Noren and Italian star Francesco Molinari in the return of the innovative one-hole shootout ahead of the DP World Tour Championship, Dubai.

Englishman Fleetwood currently leads the Race to Dubai Rankings presented by Rolex, thanks mainly to his brace of victories this season at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship and HNA Open de France, and the popular 26 year old will be hoping to get his week in Dubai off to a perfect start before he attempts to secure the title of European Tour Number One.

Rahm, meanwhile, is sure to relish the opportunity of playing under the floodlights at the iconic Atlantis Hotel on November 14, while Noren and Molinari will also be aiming to add their names to the illustrious list of Hero Challenge champions.

The two editions of the exciting night golf extravaganza this year have been won by Ryder Cup heroes from both sides of the Atlantic, with American Patrick Reed emerging victorious ahead of the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open in July, before England’s Lee Westwood claimed the title ahead of the British Masters supported by Sky Sports, emulating Frenchman Alexander Levy, who won the inaugural edition at the same event in 2016.

The final Hero Challenge of the season will take place at the DP World Tour Championship Beach Party on Tuesday November 14 and will be televised on Sky Sports from 7.30pm-9.00pm, and across the European Tour’s social platforms.
