Despite the inclement weather that hit Augusta National on Wednesday, there were still plenty of talking points - some of which you might have missed. Catch up here...
Willett’s great quotes on Bubba, his burritos and ‘squeezing a bit of cottage pie down him’
Danny Willett’s Champions Dinner went down very well by all accounts, with many of the former Champions getting their fill of Yorkshire-inspired food. It appears the barometer on whether a Champions Dinners has been successful or not all comes to whether two-time Masters Champion Bubba Watson has enjoyed the meal.
When the weather's bad in Augusta, it's really bad...
The Masters Tournament and Augusta National are synonymous with glorious sunshine and blooming azaleas. And the reason for that is because nearly every year the calendar’s first Major Championship is played under glorious sunny skies. Not this week, however.
After tornadoes hit this part of central-eastern Georgia on Monday, the National Weather Service warned of a new round of severe weather which worryingly was to contain "long-lived supercell storms, large hail, damaging winds, and strong tornadoes." It also placed Augusta under a tornado watch for the second time in three days.
Unsurprisingly the patrons were escorted off the property at 13:00 local time, with the traditional Par 3 also cancelled. And the weather forecasters were right, with a stormy weather front sweeping across Augusta a matter of minutes after everyone had been told to get off the course. The bad weather continued long after all the players and patrons had left the course, with more windy and rainy conditions forecast for Thursday and Friday, before thankfully things are set to settle down for the weekend.

Mike Weir’s still got it…
The well-natured 2003 Masters Champion is always well received in these parts, with many fondly remembering the left-hander’s dramatic playoff victory. Fast forward 14 years and the Canadian is still showing the touches of magic that helped him win one of the most coveted prizes in golf.
This wonderfully struck iron into the fourth hole saw Weir make an ace. When play was called because of the bad weather the 46 year old was co-leading at three under par through seven holes. It’s not like he wanted to win the par three tournament any way right…

Henrik Stenson’s birthday…
The Swede might not have had the greatest success at Augusta National, but he does get to celebrate his birthday during Masters week every year. So The Open Champion, who has provided us with many memorable moments over the years, took to the first tee at 10am to get some practice in. However his birthday round was short-lived, with ‘The Iceman’ only able to reach the second tee before the horn went off, signalling the end of play.
We didn’t forget his birthday though, and neither did some of the patrons, with one cheeky fan wishing Henrik a happy 31st birthday. As ever, Stenson took it in his stride.
