But the big excitement of the morning came in the third place play-off when Australian Robert Allenby holed in one with a five wood on the 230 yard sixth.

He was playing an 18 hole game with Angel Cabrera and despite the ace, Masters Tournament champion Cabrera was one up at the turn.

Fisher birdied the first from four feet before Kim levelled with a superb approach to three feet at the seventh.

The Los Angeles golfer fell behind again when Fisher two-putted the long eighth, but again he replied, pitching to four feet at the next.

Cabrera had won the third and fifth, but not surprisingly lost the sixth.

Kim bogeyed the short tenth and fell behind for the third time, but shared the 224 yard 12th in birdie twos and sank a ten footer on the next to bring the match all square again.

That is also how it was in the other game with five to go after Allenby levelled with a birdie on the 11th.
